This was a full redesign of their existing site. Migrated all the relevant blog posts over to Hubspot for easier editing. We used the Wordpress REST API to serve global elements like the footer and header into the hubspot blog template. This allowed for one central codebase to power their Hubspot blogs and Wordpress content. We prioritized accessibility and made that priority in design and development.
Our approach began with extensive user research and SEO analysis to identify the content most relevant and useful for their audience. We discovered with the amount of traffic and size of their blog, it was best to serve that content separate of the Wordpress site to reduce server load and enable other teams to edit the blog posts.
Key improvements included: • Implemented a easy to use CMS for their blogs and website content. • Configured all of their forms to post to Hubspot and sync data to their grant provider. • Condensed blog content and archived old/irrelevant posts. • Integrated a donation platform to accept payments throughout the site. • Increased accessibility scores throughout the site, and ensured it was WCAG AA compliant.
The redesign resulted in an overall increase in form fills, conversions and donation amounts. The clients were very happy with being able to edit all of the content themselves.
